i dont know how it works in PA, but in TX most sellers at gun shows are dealers, and therefore you need to go through the federal check that you normally go through. Same as a normal store. However, if a private seller is selling, then you dont need any check...in TX.

I live in NY too and often catch myself looking at the PA/NY border the same way a Mexican looks at the Mexico/US border . It's only like 10 minutes away.......I wanna jump it! You should jump it...PA probably has better gunlaws than Texas. At least in PA you can open carry legally...can't do that in Texas. As to the original poster, if you even think about a Saiga in NYC, you have committed a thoughtcrime and the secret police will be at your door shortly.
