I'm thinking about getting a dragonov style rifle, what do you think is a better deal the Romanian PSL's or a saiga 308 with 22" barrel?
-
that makes some sense, I wondered if it would be California legal.

do they use standard ak magazines out of the box?

I see the utility of converting a saiga 7.62 into an ak103 style rifle, I'm just wondering why they stopped at the barrel and not the pistol grip or butt stock. If they made a saiga 5.45 rifle like this i would buy it and install the pistol grip a butt stock my self.

How much does it cost to have a gas block replaced on an AK? I have a post ban arsenal milled receiver AK47. I bought a replacement gas block, and plan to replace the front sight base as well as having the muzzle threaded. Are I picked up a virgin AK 47 gas block, will it need to be lathed to fit my rifle? Do you think one of these front sight bases http://secure.netsolhost.com/575571.587307...uct_Code=AKBP38 Will fit my Bulgarian arsenal rifle?

new web page for my saiga 12 http://www.manicroger.com/12gauge.html I recycled the trigger guard, selector stop, and axis pin retainer spring from the original configuration. I used the FCG from a wasr 10 (until I get a g2 for it), and a spare pistol grip and screw I had lying around. the rivets where left over from my sten mkIII now all I need is a stock, and some better sights for it. the pictures on top are of a USMC issue LWH that I shot with bunch shot, a .22 rifle, and a 12gauge rifled slug. Dont worry, it was unusable before I pumped it full of lead. one of these days I

I fired my Saiga 12 for the first time yesterday! Need more accessories. I love it! it's my new favorite gun, I bulls eyed a tree stump at 50 yards using a rifled slug on my first try. My only concerns are ergonomic ones that can easily be fixed. 1, I need to convert it to the proper "military" configuration. I have a us made trigger group left over from my WASR 10, as well as a spare pistol grip. Would installing a military folding stock be out side the realm of a home gunsmith? I think If I had a template and used a drill press to do pilot holes I could do the other slots with my de
