This horse has probably been beaten to death already, but I'll just add that I JB welded the JoeKen muzzle brake onto my 20" Saiga barrel and have experienced no problems so far. I've put a couple hundred rounds through it since then, and careful inspection afterwards indicates no loosening or cracking of the joint. I did not shoot rapid fire, however, because I was also sighting in my POSP scope at the time. Hi there. I've been lurking for a couple of months. There is some great info on this site. I'm getting a Saiga 7.62 very shortly, and I need to get mags for it. At some point I will do a hicap/pistol grip conversion, but not right away. Meanwhile, Saiga mags range in price from $18 at CDNN to $30 elsewhere. However, 10-round polymer AK mags can be had for about $10 that I've seen. If I wanted to use these locap AK mags instead of the more expensive Saiga mags, I would not have to worry about any U.S. parts compliance rules, would I? I presume I would just have to do the bullet gui
