    I make my own version of the one atak listed.. just because I like having the sling mount.. Btw atak I'm pretty sure the mods are gonna take that link down. So for people who come it's the Vulcan Arms LHG retainer he's currently linked to.

    This range is in Petaluma Ca, 50 min from SF, the only 300 yard range in bay area, very good folks, AK friendly if you know what i mean :rolleyes:

    Lots of hunters and military people,hunting and war stories all day long :lolol:

     

     

    I knew that range looked familiar. I guess i must of went on an odd day, the guy there had a stick up his ass at the time.

    I am there on Mondays and Thursdays , Navy guy in charge,donuts and coffee :super:

    I had upper an lower hand guards from my PSL(I dressed her in Poly)and Dragunov style stock for AK,gas tube and lower hand guard retainer, used PSL's scope as well. The hardest part was removing crappy polish from the wood ,

    I laser bore it at home,so you can see my first eight shots and after that my daughter was hitting all shotgun clay pigeon Targets, 4 inches in diameter at 100 yards all day long

    Scope started to move forward after 20 rounds , so I tightened it,and it was solid after 200+ rounds.

    here is a few, same saiga with some changes over the past year, last thing i did to her was the muzzle break just now, i think i needed to go a little further back, but i read in another thread a guy went right up to the fsb and then the muzzle break would not go all the way back to the fsb and he had to dremal the tip of the rifle some! i didnt want to do that...im trying to find the thread before i go further...enjoy! im already planning on some changes timbersmith got some russian red wood now!

    Nice stick, Storm.You can contact Dinzag about the FSB, he is an expert , like most of the us :rolleyes: , maybe a little bit better. Red wood is sick always wanted to get one :super:

    My wife was complaining about the PSL's weight ,so I build her this minipsl for the Valentine's Day, I am romantic kind of guy :rolleyes: ,Saiga X39, wood and scope from PSL ,AK's buttstock svd stile

    Not to worry, . But I do have a question. I picked up one of the Sure Fire 10 round mags with BHO, am I playing the parts game with that mag cause it's American or is it cool cause it's a 10 rounder? :unsure:

    The hardest part was strip all the crappy polish from the wood .

    I did cut 1.5” from the lower handguard and about 3.5” from the upper, plus you need bracket for the lower guard and ak gas tube( I used east German), some tweeking here and there ,was done in 2-3 hours with the trigger group conversion . Took me 2 days to put the color and polish on this baby

    460lb? That's a whole lotta pork. Tell the youngster nice shooting for me!

     

    Where'd you get the ammo? My PSL really hates the S&B 174gr match (overpressure primer extrusions to primer piercing), and I keep hearing that the receivers on PSLs aren't intended for 'heavy ball' - whatever bullet weight that is.

     

    Some nice 150gr hunting rounds would be perfect.

    For the ammo go to the gun broker and put Prvi Partizan at the search ,dont go over 150g. PSL dont like heavy bullets.
