  1. I have no need for these anymore, maybe someone wants to give them a good home.

First one is the stock 10 rounder for the .223. Great condition, barely used.

Second is a Bulgy (?) Circle-10 mag, 30 rounds. Converted to fit the Saiga .223. Works great in the one I had. You may or may not need a feed ramp, I didn't, but YMMV.

Would like to trade both of these for a .223 reloading die set (with factory crimp die)

Would sell the 10 rounder for $20 shipped *SPF*

Would sell the 30 rounder for $25 shipped (i paid like 40 something I think) *SOLD*

    both sold pending funds!

  2. question for ya. Does that scope mount get in the way of your folding stock? I had one of the belarus ones and I couldn't put it on with the folding stock on, the folder mechanism got in the way. Did you have any trouble? Does it get in the way of the stock when its folded (does it let it close all the way?)

  3. I have the high-rise version of this mount, only been mounted on my S-12 long enough for me to figure out its not gonna work for me, it gets in the way of my folding stock.

Its genuine made in Belarus, has the joint pins (I still have the russian instruction card that goes with it). Not the rebuilt crap that Kalinka Optics has been known to peddle. Basically brand new.

Not looking to make any money on this, just want to recoup my losses, asking $45 shipped for this.

This will work on any AK/Saiga/Vepr that has the side rail mount on it. Fit like a glove on my S-12, just gets in the way of my ACE folder.

Paypal + 3%, Money order, personal check (i'll wait till check clears before shipping of course) are all OK with me.

PM me here or email me at mouellet@kent.edu

  4. was browsing the interwebs and on ammunitiontogo.com I found some Hydra-Shok ammo in 12-gauge, 1-oz slug form. Anyone ever try these? they are pretty expensive ($16 for 25 rounds). Just curious. They also have a low-recoil version, would that function in the S-12 on the magnum setting? I'd be leery of shooting a slug on the "2" setting.

  5. Here's what I did.

Took a hacksaw and cut the top off like Cobra's is, and sanded everything smooth (takes awhile, make sure you cut straight).

Took the pieces I cut off, sanded them smooth, then test fit them inside the grip (cut sides facing down or up, depends on your style)

I used Gorilla Glue to attach the pieces, then clamped them on overnight till the glue set.

Sanded the glue down to the plastic, I still have to decide what I'm going to use to paint over it, maybe some model airplane paint or something.

  6. Got some leftover parts from my conversion, maybe someone here would want them. The stock set is cross-posted on sksboards.com.

    Here's what I got:

S-12 factory stock set - comes with the screws, and the sling thingy that goes on the hand guard. Like New - $20 shipped

S-12 stock hammer, trigger, retaining spring and that link thing that looks like a Y. All Like New. Lets call it $6 shipped for all that.

    Open to offers :smoke:

    Trades I'm interested in:

Tapco SAW AK grip (black), or some other kind of AK grip aside from the plain Jane AK grip.

  7. Ok I need some help deciding which scope mount to buy. I know I'm getting a red-dot, because for me an actual scope is pretty much useless on this shotgun. I've narrowed it down to two:

The first one is that side rail mount from Belarus. Here's a gunbroker auction to describe what I mean:

    http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=89580866

    that's on the cheap.

The other one is an Ultimak rail that goes over the gas port. They just made it for the normal sight rail, before it was only available to the vent rib models.

    that's 90 bucks.

    which one would be better????
