Awesome guys, thanks for the heads-up on these items. That side-mount on Dave's collectibles does seem to be the better one to get. After reading about the Mueller's scopes and the reviews that some sites have on them, they seem to be really good scopes for their price. I'll have to take a closer look between them and the rail-mount POSP's.

Thanks for all that PMed about the mags. I recently swapped my .223 for a .308 Saiga, but I still might get another .223 before christmas, and this time with the shorter barrel. I just don't need the .223 mags at this time any more.

I shoot lefty and am left-eye dominant, but I really like the Russian PSO/POSP-type scopes with the integrated sidemount. However, I've heard that these scopes are aligned left of center when mounted, are there others that aren't? I basically need a solution to mount a scope that is aligned centrally down the barrel, using the stock sidemounts, and preferably using one of the PSO/POSP-type scopes. Or do I have to go with someting like this: http://www.copesdist.com/images/AKSideRaliMnt.jpg and get some other scope? thanks in advance.

Gary, have you tried that brake yet? how loud is it from the shooter's perspective?

Hi gang, my first post here but I've been reading these forums thoroughly and have learned so much from it. It seems that many of the Saiga .223 owners opt to use hi-cap mags because their state allows it, but since I'm in NY, I'm restricted to the 10-rounders that came with the rifle. If any of you would like to get rid of your 10-rd factory mags, I will gladly buy them from you. I'm hoping to get around 3 to 4 more of them for me to use here. Please PM or reply here if this interests you, and thanks for all the help.
