  1. Is the u.s. made k-var arsenal fire control group any good? How does it compare to the Tapco G2?
  2. the only issue is i can't find any literature on using BOTH a pistol grip AND a forward hand grip on a fixed magazine rifle.
  3. i am in the process of converting my saiga. i will be using a mag lock to be compliant with adding a pistol grip. does anyone know if by adding my mag lock i can use both a pistol grip AND a forward grip (ak "tommy gun" style grip) or is that one too many "evil features"? i"m talking about this style forward grip:
  4. living in california i am limited to 10 round magazines... does anyone know where to find US made 10/30 mags? i just want that "pure evil" look. even if i'm limited to 10 rds.
  5. now as far as the gas tube, does it differ if it has vents at the end or not? i'm no expert on pneumatics but isn't gas escaping a bad thing in this case?
  6. i was looking into the RADD lock or one of the other bullet button options. people on calguns have been getting away with these (for now at least).... cold war shooters sells 'em, among other places. i guess it's a semi-permanently fixed mag option, requiring a key or tool to unlock the magazine. anybody (especially you californians) have any experience with the bullet buttons?
  7. i am an owner of a stock saiga and unfortunately find myself in california. i am interested in doing a full conversion to the more conventional wood ak style rifle. 922r aside, i am aware of the parts counts and part replacements. my questions are: 1: i am looking at ironwood designs for my furniture. what is more authentic the laminate stock or the maple(?) stocks? which also is more sturdy and longer lasting? 2: i am contemplating threading my rifle for a muzzle brake, either a slant brake or a 74 style brake. do either of these tread into the "flash hider" category and can they
