  1. WTF- I went to the page and it's listed as being updated last on 12.04.05

Even if they have them in stock they ring out around $88 USD + shipping?

In many foreign countries, the date listings start of with the day of the month, then the month, then the year as opposed to the way we in the U.S. do it with the month first, then the day of the month, and lastly the year. Oleg updated his site today: 12.04.05=tuesday the 12th/April/2005

  2. Cobra, that looks damn good!! Beautiful Saiga! Did a heck of a job. Check out this pistol grip from K-VAR. It's from Bulgaria too, and I think it would look good on your gun-it's made like a polytech grip, that is, it's fatter than the little grips. It costs $20.00, I have one and I was gonna order one of the Bulgarian stocks from Global trades. Here's the link to the pistol grip: K-VAR Bulgarian Grip. Hope this helps-AKATTACK.

  3. You guys are right, they can be real assholes on AR15.com. If you have something nice, they will compliment it, and then cut something else in your photo down. I posted the pics of my AR-10 Mk11 Mod0 clone and several of the members complimented me, but then several had smartass things to post, such as posting that my deck was "pink". Hell, my camera made it look that way, it is faded, but it is redder than it looks. I haven't even painted my deck, it was that color when I bought my house. They act like a bunch of damn spoiled kids sometimes. AKATTACK

  4. Springfield Armory still produces the M1A, which is the civilian legal-semi auto, which is what you are asking about I'm assuming. I've heard good and bad things, but I would still buy one with confidence. Link: Springfield Armory. I was going to have one built by a local armorer, but decided to buy an AR-10 instead. That's about the only options that I know of. AKATTACK

  5. I tried trimming the follower on one of the extra .410 mags and it didn't work out, still couldn't get 5 into it. I was thinking that the spring may be the problem, they come with the 10-round mag springs and so I thought that it may be binding. I decided not to try to trim it anymore. I am planning on putting 2 mags together, so I might go ahead and try to trim the follower and the spring since I'll have an extra of each. AKATTACK

  6. whatthedil, I believe that smithmonsters' Saiga is a 20 gauge. If you look closely you can see the magazine is different than that of a 12 gauge. The 20 gauge guns have a magazine release that is like a conventional AK, and it looks like smithmonster just tucked the front of the original triggerguard under the back of it. Nice looking guns, all of them. AKATTACK

  7. The last I heard about USA mags was that they were busted for producing high capacity mags when the ban was in effect, and they weren't marking them "LEO ONLY". They were making them "after-hours" so to speak, they were supposed to be selling them as pre-ban mags and they were shut down. I'm not sure if this was true. AKATTACK

  8. I'll donate as soon as I find out where to send it to. I don't expect anything to change or to be allowed special priveledges. I have always enjoyed spending time on this forum and it really helped me to complete my conversion. I have enjoyed chatting with all you guys and I'd be more than happy to help with the cost of this website! AKATTACK

  9. Thanks for the compliments, dodgeturbointerceptor!! I've been spending a LOT of time and money on my AR10 project in the past few weeks. I'll post pics of it when I get it finished, it's looking really good! AKATTACK
