  1. I believe that picture on Impact Weapons website was only an indication of what it would look like. This same subject has been brought up on AK-47.net and a fellow member had some pictures of the actual guns from the SHOT show. I saved and reposted them here. I have GOT to have one of the FN-F2000s!!! They are supposed to be $1700.00. I like the FN P90, but it takes different mags and high-priced ammo. I have several ARs so I'm set up(mags and ammo) to step right into the F2000. AKATTACK

  2. A GP-30 is the Russian version of the M-203. It's an underbarrel grenade launcher. If you read the fine print, I believe it states that B.A.T.F.E. has ruled that these do not fit the deactivation state as set forth by B.A.T.F.E. They cannot be shipped to the United States. AKATTACK

  3. Since the form is submitted to U.S. Authorities, the $100.00 limit would be applicable to U.S. Currency. If you are over $100.00, you are supposed to submit a form 6 to the U.S. Customs, if you are ordering from within the United States. I have not had experience in this area, so I don't know exactly how it is done or if it is completely necessary. The time period from which I placed my order and to which I received it was 18 days. 4. Sorry guys, had to run an errand. The parts I ordered were the front sights for my Saiga 12 and .410. No mags, sorry. But I ordered these products on Jan. 12 and I received them today, Jan. 31. I live in Arkansas, so that might give some of you guys some insight to delivery dates. Here's a pic of the package and parts.

  5. To tell you the honest truth, the sticker from Customs on the envelope looks to be from U.K. Customs, and not U.S. Customs. The date on the sticker is Jan. 14, 2005 and that's the day after the package left Oleg's place of business. The sticker reads "Saiga Spares" as the envelope's contents and shows a worth of "50.00", more indication that this is U.K. Customs. I'll be back with pictures of the envelopes and products. 6. Hey guys, I just received my parts from Rusmilitary!!! The envelope in which they came does have a Cutoms Declaration sticker on it. It seems that the package was opened, it's contents were verified and the package was then sent on it's way. I will post pictures in a little while, kinda busy right now. AKATTACK

  7. 32ndgeorgia, you don't need another part. Per the ATF letter on Soupbowl Enterprises webstie, you only need 4 U.S. parts after the gun is converted, so you are covered. You only need the U.S. fire control group and the pistol grip. AKATTACK

  8. The only items I ordered were the front sight bases for the Saiga 12 and .410 shotguns. I KNOW those items aren't illegal for me to order and the total was $92.40 and that was including the shipping, so there should be no problem with a form 6. I correspond with the law in every way and I still haven't seen my package. But it has only been 2 weeks. I'm going to try to see if U.S.P.S. can give me the package's new tracking number, I called them from work yesterday and the person I talked to told me that they should be able to do that. I place NO blame on Oleg at all. Once it leaves his door, he has no control over it, and I've heard nothing but good things about his business. I don't want a refund, I want the sights, so if I have to, I'm gonna take this all the way to U.S. Customs Service, my items were legal and so I'll keep you guys informed about what I find. AKATTACK

  9. For the two screws that were required to secure my K-VAR stock, I used the original screws that secured the Russian stock. I also chamfered the rear trigger-plate screw hole and used one of the screws that secured the buttplate on the original Russian stock. That's a total of three screws securing my buttstock, two on top and one on bottom. AKATTACK

  10. I need to hear from those of you that have ordered from Oleg at Rusmilitary. Who delivered your order? I'm assuming U.P.S., but I need to know. I ordered the parts on Jan. 13, and the order was supposed to go out on the 14th. Still haven't received my order, debit card has been charged. Starting to get a bad feeling, not to blame Oleg, but I've had a package disappear when it came by U.P.S. before. Please let me know guys, THANKS! AKATTACK

  11. The Russians designed these sights to be offset slightly so that you could still use the iron-sights, while at the same time the sight will set low enough for you to be able to have a decent cheek-weld to the stock. I've really been reading up on this in the "optics and sights" section on AK-47.net and I haven't noted anyone that it bothered that the sight was offset, some guys actually liked the offset. I haven't ever looked thru one that was mounted so I have no idea what they are like, but I'm going to buy one in a few weeks. AKATTACK

  12. There was a rumor posted on this site a few weeks ago that Tapco was supposedly going to start handling the Saiga shotgun hi-caps. Someone on this board who is a member of AK-47.net, which I am a member of also, asked Tapco(which is a sponsor of the AK-47.net website and they have their own forum on that website) if the rumor was true. All Tony(employee) would reveal is that Tapco was looking into the possibility of a number of products for the Saiga shotguns. Let's all hope that they bring in the mags, or have some made!!
