    Ok wow you were right. I only have 1 5 rounder, but moving that part over worked perfectly. The metal is obviously much harder and springier on the izhmash retainer. That mag works perfectly now.

     

     

    edit: Its 11:42 pm, think I should go into the backyard and cook off a mag?

    Judging by length, wouldnt the 410 saiga fit 454 casull and 460 S&W magnum as well? I doubt it would take those chamber pressures with the factory barrel, but I'm sure it could be made to work if someone made an aftermarket barrel.

    Thanks for keeping with this project over the years. I know that our incessant nagging and bitching must have gotten old a long time ago.

     

    I have long dreamt of owning a reliable, high capacity, mag-fed semiauto shotgun. Thanks for making it come true.

     

    I would have bought a turbo from you guys recently, but someone gave me a killer deal on a T04E.

     

    Anyway, keep up the good work.

    No you couldnt, unless the 86 ban goes away. It is a post-86 MG and it fires from an open bolt so you cant easily convert it to semiauto.

     

    I would like to get some of those fragmentation grenade slugs though, those sound like awesome crowd pleasers. Nothing like killing 30 birds with one shot. The explosions would also be cool. I guess I'll have to make do with bird bombs.

     

    Actually, has anyone done ballistic gel testing of bird bombs?

    I expect to see all you Central Atlantic States people at the Carolina Tactical Invitational Shotgun match in March 2007 Bring your mags! I want to organize a TEAM SAIGA Squad where we can have some quality time!

     

    Isnt that finals week for law school?

     

    If I can arrange being there, what sort of events are we talking about? And since I'm planning to form 1 my saiga to 14 inches, could I still compete?

    Do we have to resubmit our orders from earlier in the year or will you just be fulfilling them as originally arranged? I dont even remember how many I ordered. I think it was 2 or 3.

     

    By the way, since I preordered I have moved across the state, so my old address is no longer valid. Just FYI.

     

    Ok, I just checked, I ordered 4 on June 23. Order# 49 baby. Anyone else get theirs yet? My card hasnt been charged yet.
