All of the effort that promag seems to put into putting out crap... why can't they just spend a bit longer and come out with something that works for once...
-
My tang was cut off with a hacksaw...
-
if all else fails I can have a gun smith raise it by chopping it and adding in material...
-
looks like it, and my russian front sight had to be turned way way down to work with the factory rear sight.
So I'm hoping I can turn it way up to clear the rail, making a rear sight will be easy with the help of a laser bore sighter for 12ga.

I have the russian front sight, I'm hoping I can see the front sight post if I raise it...
My plan is to take a scope mount and chop it down, then file in a little V for the rear sight...
hopefully that will work...
I really love that barrel mounted sight.

I would leave the finish as it is and just rough it up a little, then duracoat.
I have a Stainless 1911 that blinded the crap out of me during a match, so I used some molly teflon spray on finish from brownells, then stuck it in the oven...
Turned out great, and the action is smooth as crap now.
I also finished all friction parts inside of the gun including the trigger bar.

I vote G19
I had been wanting a G19 for a while, but during the big O rush they started showing up with austrian proof marks and stamped with the import marks on the trigger guard...
I ran into one of those for $499 at a local store and decided if I'm going to have one I might as well have a military one...
I love the pistol, great size, holds 15rds, can also take the G17 17rd mags, and the G19 33rd mags.
It also carries well.
-
I would take the USP .45 and the $200.
Then add about $350 to that and buy a new S12.

What parts did they replace for 922r?
They may of replaced the rod with that tapco one...
It's NFA, 922r doesn't apply.
Carry on then.

I'm guessing only a few of us have our permits here.
I'll have to take some pictures of my carry gear one of these days...
I carry a G30 IWB, G19 IWB, Keltec PF9 IWB, Keltec P32 IWB & pocket carry.
All depending on what I'm wearing/what I want to deal with that day.
I also started making my own holsters, and I'm getting pretty darn good at it now. but I still have a ways to go.
Biggest thing I need is better snaps, the kind that requires a very strong hand...

I think I have a few to share...

I have a few guns in my carry circle...
Check out the keltec PF9, and P3AT.
I wear my PF9 IWB and even when I pull my shirt tight you can't tell its there.
I also made a holster for my P32 (same thing as P3AT, but the P3AT is .380, and the p32 is .32acp) with work carry in mind, it works really well.
I also carry a G19, and that's a great gun, shoots well and carries well.
I like to have the whole line of carry guns so I never have an excuse to leave it at home, so no matter what I'm wearing I can carry.
And the P32 is fun, I have a clip for it, and I refer to it as my underpants gun to my wife.

If you tilt your gun to the side the ch is easy to get at with the left hand.
My trijicon sight is so close to the charging handle that it gets in the way...
I would move it.
I think the (L) shaped ch on the left side would be weird and hard to grab, if you must I would go for a straight one.
I have been thinking about adding the (L) shaped ch on mine, but I really have no issues using my left hand on the thing with the standard one.

I have the 45acp version, G30.
It's a great gun, I love mine, I carry if often.
One thing I liked was the flush fit mags, you loose the little finger ext but it makes the gun conceal better.
-
I liked the wood stock version... but that?

I inherited a real nice 870 wingmaster from my grandpa, it was his duck gun.
I thought about just shelving it to keep it nice to remember my grandpa... but I decided my grandpa would want to to shoot and enjoy it, so I do.
I bought an 18in barrel for it and used it for 3gun for a while, it's a nice shotgun with pretty wood.

I don't have anything nfa yet, but I have taken some crap for shooting an AK-47 at a local range
Doing a night time magdump on vid at a local shoot with an AK with drum I was asked if my gun was FA, and when I said no the guy called me a liar... so I let him shoot it, the look on his face when the gun only shot one round was pretty damn funny. (private range, FBMG MG shoot)
I had some problems with that guy at a threegun match before that, I swore he was trying hard to piss me off, so I just started talking down to him.
Some people are just so weird.

Sounds like fun!
ETA: this is in OR and not WA?
How do OR laws work on vehicle transport?
I have heard some bad stories...

Quad rail
in Saiga-12
Posted
I looked at a UTG rail for an AR-15 a while back, and holding a troy rail next to it there was a huge difference, the utg rail felt like cast and it weighed more than the troy.
The UTG I held felt like it was made from pot metal... after holding that one I decided I would never buy anything they made...
I'm very happy with the troy, and it's made in America, much like the chaos rail.
I'm waiting on a Chaos extended quad rail, I expect it to be of good quality.
