You're probably going to need some sort of block to attach your stock to the receiver. That's another $50-$60. I don't know if that stock will bolt right up to the receiver.

I just yesterday received 2k rds of Golden Tiger 7.62x39 for $380 shipped to my door...
That's a pretty decent deal. Where did you order that from, if you don't mind me asking? I'd like to pool some cash with some of my buddies and get in on that.
ammoman.com - no tax and no shipping charges, the price they list is what you pay to your door... I've seen ammo cheaper initially on a bunch of other sites, but soon as they tack on tax and/or shipping it's way more...
Cool, good lookin out.

The guy at the pawn shop doesn't charge me a dime, unless I order from centerfire, then he adds 10% of the actual purchase price. Private party sales are totally free though, I've got one of his FFL forms sitting by my computer just in case.

PM sent RE $60 new stock and 1 $45 used stock.

Buy in bulk and save yourself some money in the long run, I just yesterday received 2k rds of Golden Tiger 7.62x39 for $380 shipped to my door...
1,400 rds of that is going in my "rainy day" supply along with 4k rds of 22lr, 3k rds of 9mm, 700 rds of 30-06, 500 rds of .357 mag, and 300rds of 12-gauge... Soon as I have a bigger or additional safe I'll be looking to double those figures....

Someone take pictures of the mall ninjas!
They crack me up.
And of course any interesting new stuff.
Come on man. You know you can't take pictures in the gun show. (At least you can't around here.)

What's the price on this stock going to be from the site store?

On a different note, that's total bullshit that his bail was $7500. Shit, when I was 17 I got charged with "trafficking LSD" for having 4 hits on sugar cubes, and my bail was $50,000. That's right, fifty thousand dollars for 4 hits of acid.
The legal system and the media are both fucked up.

I'm pretty sure it's just the gun getting broken in, and the mags don't have anything to do with it. It was jamming with the 5 round factory mag for about 50 rounds, then it started being able to cycle a whole 5 rounds without issue. Now it's (occasionally) getting hung up after 7 or 8 rounds. Probably nothing to worry about.
-
Damn, your mags are jamming on me. WTF?
-
Waltham, when you say screw it all the way in and see where it stops, where should the numbers be sitting?
-
I gather that it's to reduce the amount of force on the spring when shooting higher-power rounds, but what should it be set at when I'm shooting say, 2 3/4 bird shot? Right now the 2 is at about 7 o'clock (right side up) and the 1 is at 3 o'clock when I'm staring down the barrel.
My main concern is that occasionally it jams up, because it's getting caught on the safety bar, and I was wondering if adjusting the gas piston would correct this, or if it just needs to be broken in more. It's gotten a lot better, it used to jam about every other round, now I can run 10 through it at a once most of the time, and it will only act up 1 out of 20 rounds or so. It's still an annoyance.
Thanks in advance.

This is one from GilbertsGuns. They sold this for $742 and then listed another starting at $499.
http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=96482377
If you go to thier website it states they are out of stock. I guess that is for the web page sales, not the Gunbroker sales.
I wonder if we will see any go for $1000. Supply is down and Demand is going way up.
At least they are starting the bid at a reasonable price. That's how demand and worth should be gaged. If someone is willing to pay $750 for the fucking thing, then by god, it's worth it.

My 10 round mags have "AGP gen 2" stamped on the case.

Shit, y'all don't watch gymnastics? Pussies.

EC,
They go out all at once when I get the stuff in one package. If someone hasn't paid by the time the stocks come in, they'll be dropped and I'll go to the next person on the waiting list. I don't think it's fair to keep others waiting if someone hasn't paid.
Jake
Cool man. I'm in no rush. (Well, I am, but it's nothing urgent, just excited.) I can wait, it doesn't matter because I'm saving some cash, so it's all good.

I've got a UTG double rail mount that was advertised as a tapco from the sportsman's guide, it is solid as a gymnast's ass. That's all the input I have, which I guess amounts to none, huh?
-
That's disappointing, but not a serious issue. I had a question about the payments also. Do you ship all the parts out yourself, or are these coming from the suppliers, ie, will I get one box of stuff, or multiple boxes, and similarly, when the things do get ready to ship, will they ship based on who has paid, or will there be a wait until everyone has paid, and then they all go out?
Not trying to be pushy, just curious.
-
Will do bro. PM your info, sorry about the mix-up.

Ordered six 10 round saiga 12 mags on friday night, got them tuesday. Can't beat that.
-
I sent my payment out on friday, I imagine it should be there tomorrow or wednesday.

I went out today and tried to shoot the .308 left handed, not happening. It felt so weird that I didn't even waste ammo shooting that way. On a side note, I was hitting right at 2" group at what I perceived to be 100 yards, maybe a little bit more, but nonetheless I'm happy. I can't wait to get a scope for that thing.
-
I am RH / right eye dominant, but when I shoot left handed, I use the left eye. Mainly because if I'm peeking around a corner (to the left) using my left hand and RIGHT eye, my forehead is sticking out from cover more than any other body part.
Plus, I like to practice both, as it makes me more "well rounded".
On my PSL, I shoot right handed - left eyed, for cheek weld (wierd). But it works.
edit: careful when you're switching to left handed on an AK. If you use the mag as a grip, you have to make a concious effort to not stick your thumb behind the charging handle (ouch).
You use the mag as a grip dude? That's effin weird. I use the front grip, though, so no worries here.
-
Hahaha, football bat. Yeah, I'm going to go out tomorrow morning and try my luck at shooting my .308 left handed and see what happens. I'll report back and let y'all know.

As I understand it, putting a 10 round magazine (or a pistol grip, or a folding stock) on your gun relinquishes it of it's sporting status.
I don't really understand your question, but I think I see what you're getting at, and I would address it this way: With the FCG and the AGP magazine you will be in compliance, but since the magazine is not a permanent accessory when you remove it and use your factor 5 round magazine the gun would still be considered a sporting rifle.
