Harpoon 0
I've written about difficulties getting my Saiga .308 sighted in with the scope. It was one of the initial run of Simmon's Master Series Pro Hunter. Optics look very clear. I called Simmons today and described the issue. They immediately said the scope was defective, that they had problems with the first runs. They're sending me a UPS call tag and will send me a new scope. Nice, will be interested to see how that goes. Even when you're pretty confident of your shooting, having the weird results I saw starts to shake your faith. Don Boy howdy, ain't that the truth? I know exactly where you're coming from. I won't go into boring details, but that's the reason I'm getting a Caldwell Lead Sled. I want to clamp my guns in place and see exactly how they do without the possibility of "human error".
