charcoalburner 2
Does anyone have or can point me to a definitive foreign parts count for the Saiga rifles? I have searched here but cannot find a list. I would like to modify my x39 to use high caps but keep the original buttstock style(in other words no pg). I am looking at getting a US made buttstock and forend traditonal Saiga style from BRG3 that should count as 2 US made parts. If I understand correctly, I would then just need to trade out 2 more foreign parts to be compliant. However, I need the list to be certain. Thanks, I know I'm going to look stupid for not finding it myself but I have SEARCHED!
PsychoticReaction 0
Try http://www.tapco.com/page.asp?id=83 . This is Tapco's page on this. I believe the Saiga has a count of 15 parts as it does not have a muzzle device. Going with the stock and forend, it can be as easy as using American made mags. You could also go with just mag bases and followers. along with a Tapco gas piston. Hope this helps.
