PHM248 0
Ok ive been looking at some Saiga rifles. They look amazing. Im thinking of either getting one and putting a Dragonov stock on it or kind of making it into a SOC 16 type rifle just in looks wise. So would this look good on the rifle? Im still kind of debating if I should get the .223 or the 7.62. Im leaning twards the .223. So what are your guys thoughts about making it into a Dragonov type rifle or a SOC 16. I kinda like the Dragonov style but ive been a fan of the SOC 16 for along time. I would buy a SOC 16 but a little out of my price range.
vjor 2
If I was you, I will get the 7.62x39, is easier to work with is a ton of stuff that works with, I mean barrel wise FSB and GB ak74 parts, easy to made them work on it, now caliber itself, the 7.62x39 packs a lot of punch up to 300 meters. Now if you referring to 7.62 .308 well it packs a lot of punch for the buck and if they made 20 round mags well things can change a lot with a 20, now about stuff to work with, I guess anything can be done just a lot of costume made parts. Now the .223 is nice, low recoil, easy second shots but not my first option if things will get serious, I mean the shit hit the fan, for that the 7.62x39 will come to talk the talk and walk the walk. just my 3 cents.
