RooK 0
Anyone know if the 16" or 22" barreled 308 Saigas are chrome lined?

RooK 0
I was hoping they wouldn't be, which leads me to my next question... Can chrome bored rifles be cut down or does the chrome flake and mess up the bore?
chips 0
why would you cut down the barrell? 16 inches is as short as you can go. anything less is illegal.
RooK 0
I'm wanting to cut down the 22" version to 20 or 18 inches for a battle rifle length barrel. It will also elimnate the welded on front sight base and make the muzzle clean for a flash suppressor (post-sunset). I'm planning on attaching a front sight to the gas block, so that's not an issue. Job_of_Uz 0
Just remove the front sight and it is pretty smooth
