MadDog 3
I just bought two Saiga .308's to go along with my new .308 Can (yes I have some of the 20rd mags). I want to move the FSB back about an inch and have the barrel threaded 9/16X24. It appears that the FSB is pinned as well as brazed to the barrel in the front. Is this as simple as knocking/drilling out the pins and turning down the barrel next to the FSB to allow it to move? I would welcome any info on this upcoming project... TIA, MadDog in GA p.s. I also picked up another Saiga 12 Defender!!!!
44rdv4rk 0
it's not brazed to the barrel, if you knock out the pins it should come off fine. there is an odd taper to the barrel in the last 1/2 inch, though.
