first: yep, it's fine with .308win.

 

second: they say both .308-1 and 100 series. hmmmmm

 

308-1 is the model you want, the 100 series is the one you dont, as you know.

 

i'd say the safe thing would be to verify that the receiver is not plastic clad when you call to order.
