I have a Chinese spot welder I got at Harbor Freight that I haven't tried out yet. Would the feed lips (or the whole mag) need to be from heavier stuff? Ideas anybody? dinzag 31 Posted March 14, 2007 Report Share Posted March 14, 2007 They're pretty sensitive to the channel that the rims ride in and the curvature that the rounds are stacked to. Also duplicating the top portion would be a little tricky. I'd spend the $55 and buy one from rusmilitary IMHO... Here's a pic of an 8 rounder I made out of 2 - 4 rounders.
