Buzz 0
Does anyone know why the front sight post is pushed up so far on the .308 barrel compared to the .223 and 7.62x39? BTW, today I just picked up my new .308 and I leaned it up against a table in my workshop and it slide over and landed on my toe. All I thought was that I was glad that it didn't hit the floor. That is until I realized that I have probably broken my big toe. While at the gun shop I noticed that since last Friday my local shop had gotten in a new shipment of Saigas. The prices were the same. Already gone were the shotguns (except for the .410) and a .223.

I have been trying to figure which route to go in installing on of these. I know that the hood on the fsb has to be removed and the sleeve inside has to be delt with. Still don't know if I want to weld one on or machine and thread barrel, (expensive).
