jh664322 0 Posted February 5, 2008 Report Share Posted February 5, 2008 I like the look of the amd65 lower handguard, and I have an idea about creating a retainer for it out of aluminum and a tap set. However, would it mount up fine in the rear like the stock saiga plastic grip? Next I found this http://tacticalgears.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=277 an upper ventilated handguard which looks american. Would something like that just bolt up? Also, how do you guys think those two pieces would look together. Ive got an ace stock, so its not traditional looking as is. Lastly, wouldn't these guards burn the shit out of your hand if you fired enough rounds? Metal conducts heat pretty well as we all know. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
