rag 0
Just picked up my new Saiga today and made a few changes. I guess the cheekrest on the stock is meant to use a red dot, etc since I can't use the irons with it. What do you suggest for a scope mount/red dot? Now I just have to wait for my MDarms drum to arrive Edited February 29, 2008 by rag
jcfreak9901 0
I like the sidemount rail for my scope but there are plenty of good rails out there. That Cobra rail looks like the way to go for an easy install, foreward mounting, inexpensive, yet solid dot mount. Welcome to the forum!
Neal Jiutai 0
Did one of those changes include replacing the stock? I just recently got a skeletonized stock for mine, and I am having a devil of a time getting it sit flush with the metal. How did you get it to fit?

What do you suggest for a scope mount/red dot? You can rotate the cheek rest out of the way by pulling it to the rear (to unlock) and turning. It's made that way so you can use it if you mount an optic. I like the Kobra sidemount red dot. If you get a top rail like the one's I'm making you can also mount a red dot forward in a scout style setup.
