Receiver Mounted Bipod

Recommended Posts

Get these little 1/4" washers with rubber on one side. It'll pull the "Uncle Mike's" sling swivel mount far enough away from the receiver to lock in tight and allow for the bipod to attach. I actually was trying to get the .308 to mount and lock in at the receiver but the mags are too long to rock n' lock.... fortunately the x39 mags are short enough to lock in with NO restriction.

Oh, and you'll have to cut the mounting bolt down a bit as it's threaded almost an entire inch... far too long for the Saiga.

If U want to mount a bi-pod on the receiver, do your self a favor, make your self

a mounting block like that U can install your mags easy and the bi-pond sits

right between the receiver and the front hand guard and still attach to the receiver

plus U will don't have any problems installing any mags on the gun. And U don't have to

modified your bi-pod
