Can someone enlighten me about .308 Saiga trigger conversion guards

Recommended Posts

I do not currently own a .308 Saiga and I have not had the chance to

inspect one up close, but from looking at pictures of conversions it

appears to me that some of the conversions make use of a regular

ak trigger guard that is normally used on a 7.62x39 version.

If this is the case, will a saiga tech .308 trigger guard also fit on a x39

saiga? If the rivet holes are spaced the same on both versions

it should work, but maybe someone with both types can confirm

one way or another.
