Bullsquid 2
Hi all. Just purchased a Saiga 12 gauge. I did a trigger and pistol grip conversion of my Saiga 7.62 about 6 months ago. Is there anything that might be different when working on the 12? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Bob
elvis christ 451
On my s12 I had to grind down the hammer to make it clear the front part of the receiver. If you take it out and look at the factory hammer, you can see what needs to be done. I used a bench grinder.

I also had to cut a PG nut hole in between the factory Saiga trigger slot and the actual trigger slot that becomes exposed after the trigger plate is removed. Took about 10 minutes with a dremel and a file for precision. And had to drill a hole in the receiver for the front of the trigger guard to get screwed in. I'd say I put in about 8 hours of work, maybe less, over 3 days when I wasn't doing something else. Z
