mstranglr 9
This is a review of the AIM surplus loose pack M193: I bought the 500 round ammo can for $160 to try. They claim it is USA made by a government contractor (sold through centurion?). The brass is clean and shiny and head stamped "M193" and "08". It has a silver primer and a FMJ bullet that looks exactly like the ones used by Lake City in their M193. Pros: This ammo is very accurate and clean. I found it to shoot more accurate and consistent than Lake city M193 out of both a 16" 1:9 BBL, and a 20" 1:8 BBL. I have shot 300+ rounds of it with 0 issues. Cons: I don't think this ammo is loaded to M193 power. Its recoil, flash, and report is noticeably less than true M193. POI is lower than Lake city M193 at 300 yards, but consistent. I wish I had a chrono, as I bet this stuff travels slower than military spec M193. This stuff makes excellent paper punching ammo.
