uzitiger 193 Posted September 20, 2008 Report Share Posted September 20, 2008 I remember how buyers were pissed off at Centerfire Systems for selling rusty Romy kits for $89 about a year ago. Looks like some Naval Jelly and a good coat of paint will make them usable. When parts kits run out (thanks to the BATFE banning importation of barrels) prices go up. I regret not buying a Russian Makarov when they were $119 now look at their prices. You can't get Yugo kits anymore either. The AK rifle was designed to work in adverse conditions and will work even when the exterior has rust. At least the Yugo SKS rifles and AK kits were swimming in cosmoline which prevented this.
