Philly_G19 0
Hi, I'm thinking of buying a new SGL10 rifle and converting it using K-Var's kit and I have a few questions for SGL10 owners who already did this type of the conversion. 1. There are two models SGL10-01 and SGL10-01SP. I heard that "SP" comes with the feed ramp. What else will I need to do to it to make it accept AK mags? And if I don't get the "SP" model what would I have to do? 2. Does it come with the pistol grip hole already done, or will I have to cut it myself? 3. Will I be able to use non-US mags with this type of the setup (SGL10 and K-Vars conversion kit) and be 922 complient? I'm still a newb at this so please help me with these questions. Thank you for your help.

Any links to parts guys??? My local shop (the only one) has several of these right now. Definately considering.
imarangemaster 315
I used that exact KVAR kit to convert my 223 saiga. It worked like a charm. It does not have a bullet guide, but I use Surefire and Promag specific mags, so I don't need a guide. I re-used the Saiga hammer and disconector, and kept the bolt hold open device. With Arsenal noing the front half conversion already, you would be good to go. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=35494
cobb_turner 0
Ok this is coming together then. The only thing the bullet guide install affects is the use of traditional AK mags. I could use the mags you mentioned and not have to drill the trunnion. I may try to do this next weekend. Thanks! I used that exact KVAR kit to convert my 223 saiga. It worked like a charm.
