If i convert my saiga that is still factory spec, no pistol grip, to accept standard AK mags (In this case, 30 round prebans) will i need to worry about 922r or anything? Yes most definitely have to abide by 922r, By using high capacity magazines you remove the gun from the sporting class. If you use US made mags you would need to change 1 other part to use them. 1 part plus 3 parts of the mag subtracted from 14 parts puts you a 10 parts.
