Allthewayto11 0
I was perusing Dinzag's site and it seems that his installation instructions for bullet guides say that a 7.62x39mm Saiga mag (like a Surefire) could still be used with the bullet guide installed over the trunion (whereas the .223 mag would require modification). My real question is can you continue to use unmodified Surefires in a 7.62x39mm rifle that has been modified to accept standard AK mags?

If you install a bullet guide in your saiga, that will conflict with the bullet guide already built into the magazines for the saiga. You can grind off the mag bullet guide and it will feed standard aks and modded Saigas. Hope this helps.
jamesavery22 54
I have dinzag's bullet guide and my stock saiga mags that have the lip work fine... Use the 10rounder when Im resting on a bench. No mods to any mags are needed.
