Allthewayto11 0
I am installing the standard Russian skeletal stock and was wondering if anyone knew what size drill bit/pilot hole should be used for the screws that come ourt of the original stock to install the skeletal stock. Thanks.
cellsworth 21
I don't remember the exact size. All I can recommend at this point is that you use a drill bit with an outside diameter that is slightly smaller than the outside diameter of the screw threads. That's how I figured it out when I faced that problem. Sorry I couldn't be more specific.
rjhauser 0
mine came with holes already in it, but then again, they did not quite line up. I used the smallest bit I could get my hands on to start the pilot hole, and then just let the screws take it from there. saiga tolerances being what they are and all, the mallet did a fine job seating it.
