csspecs 1,987 Posted December 6, 2008 Report Share Posted December 6, 2008 Ok I've been casting these for a awhile now, I have used maybe a couple hundred of them through my saiga-12. You use these with a normal shotcup like you would with shot. When I load them I use a light target loading, very low recoil. These are great plinking slugs, they would probably take down game just fine but there are better slugs for deer hunting (they cost a lot more to). I have read online about guys buying walmart bulk boxes of 12 gauge shells and taking the shot out and putting the slugs in them instead. Looking for 30.00 shipped (lower 48, the other two would be more) for 100 slugs I have way more than I can use right now and I'm kind of bored so I want to cast even more than I have...
