DrWho 10 Posted January 3, 2009 Report Share Posted January 3, 2009 you guys insure your firearms seperatly from regular home owners stuff? after seeing the guy get his stuff took from his trunk, i am just curious what you all do? other then standard safe.. also on a side note. what info do you get from a guy you sell some thing to. serial. name addy phone. what do the feds want you to have if they come looking? Great pricing and guns are included up to your policy limit without being scheduled. You will need to take a picture, have serial number recorded with value and so on. Essentially I can have a couple hundred thousand worth stolen and be paid off in full. This was a change over their previous requirement which was to have them scheduled and pay a small premium. Saigaczech 9 Posted January 3, 2009 Report Share Posted January 3, 2009 The NRA also has the Armscare Plus plan. I use it, no need to send info unless it gets stolen I guess, never had to use it yet. Tried homeowner's insurance (MetLife) but they told me I would not be allowed to take guns out of safe, too much risk for them. Go figure. That was after they first asked if guns are worth anything.
