charlesmajor 0
Will the mags out there take the '000' buck? I hear the clear mags are no good for buckshot, is this correct? Is '000' just a bad idea?

Is '000' just a bad idea? The clear mags are stronger than the black. I fired 400 rds of 3" 000,00,0, Slugs and everything else through a test clear mag and I could not find a scratch on them. They are made of Polycarbonate which is one of the strongest materials. Greg
RobRez 1,895
I've used 3" 000 in the clear 10 round APG mags and have had no problem. Of course the factory 5 rounders have no problems. I don't think your gun or mag should really give a shit as to what size the shot is, the only real worry is loading too much powder. If it's store bought ammo I think the APG mags should handle it fine.
