pyzik 597
I have been searching and have not yielded the answer I am looking for. I have done a nearly complete conversion on a .223 (with Dinzag's help). Picked up an AK cleaning rod today. What do I need to do to install the cleaning rod under the barrell? Do I need a new front sight block? Can I avoid this? Thanks all!! Edited to add: I also (eventually) want to add a bayo lug. Does this need to be done at the same time? The military front sight block contains both the guide hole for the cleaning rod and the attachment point for the bayonet. Looks like a new FSB just hit your shopping list. pyzik 597
Looks like a new FSB just hit your shopping list. Guess I need to start looking at gunsmiths. Dang it, I wouldn't have bought the flash hider if I knew I would need a whole new block.

The 22mm brakes simply don't exist, unless you have one custom made. This one will work. It will work with any standard 24mm thread patterned muzzle device out there. Thanks much! How did this work out? I am putting together a list of parts I need for my Saiga 7.62x39 conversion. This would be great if it is compatible! It is cheap, it accepts the muzzle brake I am looking for, and it looks like akpartskits.com has plenty in stock!
