crfakm4 0 Posted May 9, 2009 Report Share Posted May 9, 2009 (edited) Hey guys. I read a thread about opening up the gas ports on the barrel and the gas block. It was a "how to" and I cant find it. I looked in the tacked threads where I thought I saw it before and nothing came up. Does anyone have a link? I'm trying to do this tonight. THANKS!!!! crfakm4 0 Posted May 10, 2009 Author Report Share Posted May 10, 2009 I guess I will keep replying in my own thread..! I just wanted to add that I did the gas port fix and it was easy. Anybody on the fence about doing this themselve should hop right on over. Took me of an hour and a half. I did have a buddy to assist in holding the gun from time to time but the drilling and filing were simple and straightforward. If your the type of guy that loves tinkering around in the garage from time to time this is doable. You just need to posess basic skills and have confidence. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
