flashingdaggers 0
I'm working on my first conversion and need some help. I'm putting the bullet guide in tomorrow and read I need to shave part of the mag catch off if I want it to take regular AK mags. However, I haven't had any luck finding information about which part of the mag catch to shave off. Does anyone know where I could find better instructions for that part? Thanks! Reverendfranz 160
put the mag in the gun and try to lock it in. You will see whats keeping it from doing so, adjust accordingly, and file little by little.
flashingdaggers 0
I'm sorry I don't know how to describe it any better, but it looks like it's the top of the small thin tab you pull back on to release the magazine.

TedG954 0
I received my surplus mags yesterday and fitted them last night. If you have a Dremel, the job takes about 5 minutes. Just be sure to grind-sand a little, try the mag, grind-sand a little, try the mag, etc..... until the magazine snaps in and is tight to get out. Then just grind-sand a very little more and you're done. My ProMags still work too. Good luck.
