avatar 4 Posted June 27, 2009 Report Share Posted June 27, 2009 Pretty much the same Q, so I'll add to this thread for ease of answering, except for a 308 VEPR. Muzzle may be larger diameter ~.69ish. I also need an RPK front sight reamed to fit. 17x1 was the magic number to make the muzzle device fit, a few years ago, if I measured it right. The Q is whether or not the 14x1 devices have enough metal on them to take out to 17x1? Quote Link to post Share on other sites

He told me that I am better off getting 17x1 -> 24x1.5 adapter (he carries them) and then just use 24x1.5 muzzle attachments. I still need to thread my barrel to 17x1 which is not a big deal.
