wizard5000 1
Ok I'm tired out from looking, can some will someone be kind enough to give me a complete list of parts needed to convert a 7.62x39 . To many options for a novice to figure out I e-mailed a couple vendors here and they told me to pick the parts, that's fine if I knew which parts<G> I have no preferance as to brand whom ever you recommend will be good enough. I promise to post piucs and how It turns out. Again thanks for your help. paul
22_Shooter 1,560
For a basic conversion: - Regular AK FCG. Most people use the Tapco G2 (you need to reuse the disconnector spring from the factory FCG, or get a new spring) - Pistol grip of your choice. You'll also probably need an AK grip screw and bushing. - AK buttstock. (anything for a stamped receiver will work) - Retainer plate. (you can use a wire, or whatever, but the retainer plate is the easiest route, IMO) - Bullet guide (get the kit from Dinzag. It comes with everything you need to install it)
