8valvegrowl 0
Will they work with the Saiga or better yet has anyone tired them on the Saiga? Everything looks the same except maybe the range graduations. These look like a reasonable solution to improve the AK sights. http://www.meprolight.com/default.asp?cati...D-BF5E66505CD4} Edited June 29, 2009 by 8valvegrowl

The rear sights are too close to the eyes, are too bright, and overwhelm the front one.

One could always dampen down the brightness of the rear sight with a ND filter.

If youve ever used The old Yugo sights its the same thing, only brighter.
8valvegrowl 0
Thanks for the input guys. The stock Saiga sights leave much to be desired. It might be worth the investment, even if it takes a little tinkering to get exactly what I want. Nail polish is a good idea. I also though about etching the factory sights, applying white paint in the etch, then a coat or two of commercial glow paint in the etch. Might be a nice evening project.
