paprotective 362 Posted July 4, 2009 Report Share Posted July 4, 2009 (edited) Have a chance to snag a Hungarian AMD65 lower handguard retainer. Will this fit an x39 Saiga. I was going to get it and cut in half, then mount then weld back together. Anyone do this or something like it?? Is it a CAST part?? Superhawk138 202 Posted July 4, 2009 Report Share Posted July 4, 2009 I used one on my x39 but I went the press the FSB and GB off way. I removed the two the rivets and the rounded part of the retainer that wraps the top of the AMD hanguard. I also made a Dinzag style clamp on with one also. I welded a split shaft collar to it with no problem. Its not a cast part. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
