tominjax 0
So I'm a member over at AR15.com, but new to Saiga's. I just got my Saiga 12 back from Alliance Armament. It looks great, but they forgot to thread my barrel, which was the main reason I sent it to them in the first place. They told me they would cover return shipping and get in done in a day, but damn I've waited so long I just want to start shooting it. Anyway my MD20 drum will not seat. I read on here about some need to be filed down a bit. Can someone help me or send me a link? Thanks Edited November 23, 2009 by tominjax

Juggernaut 11,054
your instruction manual that came with your MD 20 covers "fitting" step by step....... You could also look through this sticky in MD Arms section.... http://forum.saiga-1...showtopic=30195 You may also want to make sure that AA didn't jack with the size of your mag well or anything.... AA does all kinds of goofy things in their "Reliability Service" to force the gun to work with their products......... MOST aftermarket companies make stuff to work with the gun....Not vice versa.... Welcome aboard!!!
tominjax 0
http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=30195 Thanks, fix "A" worked like a champ! Any members in North Florida or South Georgia that can thread a barrel? Edited November 23, 2009 by tominjax
vbrtrmn 167
If you're a DIY kind of guy, Dinzag Arms (one of our sponsors) offers a rental for the tool. http://www.dinzagarms.com/tools/tkr.html Good luck with your shotty, glad AA didn't fuck it up, they've got a reputation here which is poor at best. Azrial 1,091
I am glad that your experiences with AA turned out well. You are one of the lucky ones. Welcome to the board!
corbin 621
Welcome to the forum! Looks pretty nice. Bummer that they forgot to thread the barrel. If you're not going to take them up on shipping it back, I'd also recommend renting the die from Dinzag. I wouldn't think it would take very long for them to thread it for you if you DID send it back. Your call though. Corbin
