docfu 0
I was wondering how often and how people here clean their gas tubes. After disassembling the gun I take the tube outside, run "carb and choke cleaner" through it, then run through a few cleaning patches, oil it and reassemble. I also run choke and carb through the barrel and then dust it out with high preassure air. -docfu
aka108 0
I use a 12 gauge shotgun brush covered with a large patch soaked in some of the old Hoppes No.9. Run it down the tube a few times then make a couple of passes with a dry patches and it gets the majority of residue out. Do this each time the piece is used. Don't let any solvent stay too long on the painted exterior surfaces or you'll end up "in the white".
