Here is my review of the Cabela's XPG Xenon Flashlight. It is the 6 volt 65 lumen 2 battery model.

The model I have is in an Advantage camo pattern, but I cannot find that option on Cabela's website.

The pros first:

VERY bright for its size and price, it is definitely blinding if you look into it, and at night you can see the tree line 100 yds away across the pasture behind my house.

Comes with a belt sheath that seems to be very durable and seems like it will last a while.

The light feels very solid, it does not rattle, and it has o ring seals at the bell and switch ends.

The body of the light is CNC milled aluminum and it has a hex ring milled in at bell and tail end, to prevent rolling.

The cons:

Battery life is not very long, Cabela's says 70 minutes, that seems to be an accurate number, my solution was to purchase 4 rechargeable batteries and a charger, so as to always have a charged set.

The tailcap switch can be turned on when you sit down against something if you are wearing the light in sheath on your belt, as the light sits in the sheath bell up.

The light seems to be a Surefire G2 clone, and on paper it is very comparable, I don't have a G2 to make a direct comparison.

In my opinion the XPG Xenon is a good value, there are some improvements that could be made, but for the price, it seems to be a good EDC light.
