jcmacconnell 25
Hey everyone I am having issues with my front leaf sight. From what I gather around the forum it is pretty much agreed that it is crap. I was at the range and the wheel and latch that is at the front that screws down to the gun flew off when it came undone. I want to go for the regular iron sights however I couldn't get the rear "wings" if you will out of the notch that is on the gun. I dont want to damage the gun however I am not sure how to get it off w/o hammering the hell out of it. If anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated. Thanks Jason
MT Predator 2,294
Are you trying to remove the rear sight? If so, they are known to be tight and most of us used a Dremel to make a relief cut to remove some pressure so it can be drifted out of the slot. If you are trying to drift it to make windage adjustments, good luck, you'll have to try some penetrating oil and beat on it with a punch and a BFH.
