phatcatblues 0
i've had my .223 saiga for almost a year, for the past year i have been aquiring parts for the conversion, and now i am finally done. i need to know if my saiga is safe to shoot, like safety checks before i go the range and blew my face off. On the number 1 picture there is a gap between the gastube and gasbblock, however when the lever is down, the gastube fits firm and tight, i can't move the gasblock any further back, because the hole on the barrel will not match up with the hole on the gasblock. i didn't remove the barrel pin, so i assume the Headspace is still factory spec. Muzzle brake is a little lose, i don't wut the tolerance is. just few weeks ago at my local range some poor fellow had an accident with a tempered firearm he bought from the gunshow, end up in the hospital. please let me know what i need to check, thank you! brickvader 3
looks good I would find an ak 74 gas tube they seem to have a better fit. Keep in mind also there is a tension spring that should go on the gas tube. Its what I use on my 223 Edited April 3, 2010 by brickvader
