paprotective 362
I have a 16" 7.62x39 Saiga at the moment and the 5.45x39 Saiga also. For a little less OTD than the PSL/Drag type I get the .308 w/21" bbl.. (US made ammo and reloads) Anyone have and leads on DECENT priced 308 ammo that feeds & groups well out the BOX?? Someone said Federal Match King or something I think in another post..?? Also looking at the S&B 'crap' ammo for $200/500 on different sites for practice ammo.. paprotective 362
Ok figured it out (another forum had a post). You compress the buttplate to the stock with a C-clamp near the swivel. (or just squeeze with your hand) Then gently open up the swivel till it comes off the PIN in the middle (as your compressing). Then gently wiggle off the butt plate (spring loaded so be careful). There are 2 metal circular tab pieces that fit into the recessed wood holes, so don't loose them. Wood is VERY dry. Waiting on my Golden Pecan to dry abit... humm.. hummm.. Figured I'd use what stain I have here. Ammo suggestions would be great..
