sh00ter 4
at present i have a 16inch barreled 7.62x39 - see below! im pretty keen on getting a 104 for its shorter barrel and folding stock, as its barrel is only 12 inches im wondering whether the accuracy will notably be worse/better or the same and whether the 125gn i use will reach their optimum velocity before leaving the barrel. sight radius appears to be shorter obviously, but to be expected. heat wont be an issue as im in the uk..... ill be buying from Oleg at rusmilitary if anyone wants to look at what im talking bout Edited May 20, 2010 by sh00ter
supersp0rt 6
7.62 ak loses very little velocity in SBR lengths. although i doubt your accuracy will increase, i would expect a very slight, if any (most likely), decrease in accuracy. good lookin' ak btw! sh00ter 4
wty im kinda thinking the same - although the barrel will be less prone to flexing the velocity and decrease in sight radius will more than take that gain away
