paprotective 362
So I went to the range at 10am today and set up my 'sale-sign' target frame and target. 100 yards.. IMHO, the China Sports Norinco ammo was tightest, the Uly next and then the Wolf MC HP 124gr. Here is a few pics just in general from the trip.. Nothing special. (Christine)... Saiga 7.62x39 with 6MOA Bushnell Red Dot 1x power (aka none) Some shots were bagged, some were just standing..literally.. Left side was 7.62.. Right was Saiga 5.45x39 (aka Helene) Here is the 5.45x39. The scope is still in nead of tweaking as its still RIGHT of aim. someday.. Here is the 545 again with 762 overlap. Nothing special just LOTs of lead thrown down range. Seems like the targets would be DOA.. BTW.. Didn't mind hitting HIGH with the 545 as its set for 200 yards, then its level with center.. paprotective 362
As a side note... The only down side was the wood upper HG I had which had a small hairine crack decided 150-200 rounds was too much today. Thats OK I have a new spare vented upper HG/Tube ( I also have another wood upper here just a little darker wood) I would like to also thank Arsenal for the new US Made Followers and Floor Plates for this trip into NJ today with my factory 10 round mags.. paprotective 362
Going to go back to range tommorrow and try to do this target at 75 yards: I'll attempt to aim at the 'corners' of the 12" square with 20 rounds of each off a simple bag rest with the red dot. 1) Wolf MC HP 124 2) Uly FMJ 122 3) China Sports FMJ (circa 1983 headstamp) Even if I suck shooting it will be 'consistent' for me and hopefully you folks can notice 'grouping' with the different ammo. The right side will be for my 5.45x39 and try to get her centered up (aka not right'd)..
