paprotective 362
Have a few questions for any SGM Tri-Rail users.. (the newer version) 1) Hows the HEAT resistance per se ( better than the Tapco??) 2) Are the rails evenly spaced and SPEC (see below) 3) Is the bottom rail stable enough to mount a Bi-Pod on it Thinking of getting one for my S308.. Want to run the MagPul 'Ladder' rail covers also... has anyone done this on there SGM?? do they look 'right'?? If anyone has pictures with the 'ladders' in place that would be great. rd99fxdl 17
I've got a few of them on various Saigas. Never had any heat problems with any of them, not the .308 especially even after about 100 rounds. It should hold a bipod with no problems,if it fits loose at the front when you go to put it on,you may need to tweek the pins on the GB. I dont have rail covers on any of mine, but I like the look of the rail the way it is,besides, its too far to reach to catch the rails. If you're talking about the spacing of the slots on the pic rails they seem to be spaced evenly
